Paul Smith is an asset to the CornellCookson team, offering 25+ years of experience in the rolling door industry. He is currently an Architectural Product Representative, focused on helping architects in New York City, DC, Philadelphia and surrounding areas to integrate rolling closures effortlessly into their designs. This is a new role in the organization, and Paul’s 17 years of service at CornellCookson gives him the knowledge he needs to help architects with projects both large and small.
Paul began his career at Atlas Door as a Commercial Salesman, he cultivated skills that eventually prepared him to become the District Sales Manager of Overhead Door. At Overhead Door he successfully managed the dealer base for eight years. This background gave him the experience to take on the role of Regional Sales Manager for CornellCookson in 2000.
Paul is a member of the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) and is also a certified construction product representative for CSI.

John Polchin started his employment with Pennsylvania based Cornell Iron Works over 30 years ago in 1986 in the Contract Engineering department. He worked through the ranks of various departments including the inaugural positions in the company’s Architectural Design Support and Marketing departments where he developed much of the company’s technical literature and AIA/CES architectural accredited educational programs.
John’s 34+ years of experience with the company prepared him well for his current role of a company exclusive Architectural Product Representative where he works directly with the architectural community throughout Central Texas and the surrounding areas.

John has vast experience with fire and smoke control product requirements as well as high wind and impact rated products, and is great at evaluating applications and recommending the most appropriate products, type of operation and options that best meet the interest of the end user. He will follow up with CAD details and matching specification language for use in architectural contract documents.

Meghan Joseph studied Biochemistry at Bradly University. She has more than fifteen years of experience in the construction industry. The majority of her time in the building community has been spent assisting architectural and engineering firms. Meghan’s vast knowledge of the building industry gives her the ability to immediately add value to any firm, and she prides herself on professionalism and solution-based architectural support.

Michael Simon has been in the commercial building products industry for nearly 40 years. Recently, he celebrated 22 years on his 2nd tour with CornellCookson. With CornellCookson, he has served as Regional Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, in the early 2000’s, and more recently, as Director of International Sales for the past 16 years. In his 10 years between tours with CornellCookson, Michael managed as a Division 8 & 10 specialty contractor in South Florida where we marketed a wide range of architectural building products.

Shawn has been with CornellCookson for the past 17 years. In 2003, he joined the company as a contract engineer where he spent 10 years before moving on to the ADS team for the next 7 years. Currently, he is the Architect Design Support Supervisor.
With a background in fine arts and engineering, Shawn has been able to help architects use CornellCookson products in upscale designs. He has been involved in some of the company's most unique projects, specializing in special applications of our products.
Jim began his career at CornellCookson as a draftsman in the engineering department in 1974. After 7 years in that position, he transitioned to Contract Coordinator in our Sales Department. Since order processing and manufacturing are so closely related, Jim assumed the task of scheduling our production work.
Over 45 plus years of experience has provided him with a solid foundation, not only in our products, but in their application as well. This provides Jim with a broad based perspective and allows him to assist in all areas of architectural support.
Jason has been with CornellCookson for the past 23 years. He joined the company as a contract engineer where he stayed for 5 years. After, he moved to Technical Service which evolved to the present day Architectural Design Support Team where his been sharing his expert knowledge for the past 18 years.
John has been with CornellCookson for over 30 years. During the first half of his time with the company, he has held positions in sales, engineering and technical services. For the past 11 years, he has been lending his expertise to the Architectural Design Support team.

Chris began his career 25 years ago as an installer for a Cookson Company dealership in Pennsylvania. He took advantage of an opportunity to move to Tempe, AZ to work directly for the Cookson Company. While there, he pursued a degree in the architectural field at Arizona State University. Chris was able to transition from an installation and service position to project management, where he has held a variety of roles for 18 years working as a CornellCookson distributor. During that time, he worked on many major projects in the Phoenix/Tempe area, which involved both rolling and sectional door products. In 2015, Chris returned to PA to join the CornellCookson Sales Department and currently holds the position of Sectional Lead in the Architectural Design Support Department. This broad base of technical knowledge coupled with 25 years of experience allows him to help architects and engineers see their vision from pre-blueprint to project completion in a confident and timely manner.
Michael has been with CornellCookson for the past 12 years. He joined the company in the Shop as part of the Shutter Department and moved through different bays throughout 7 years. He then took a sales position in the Contract Fulfillment Department where he worked for 5 years. Recently, he joined the Architectural Design Team where he's been for the past 5 months.
Eric started his career with CornellCookson in the National Account Division at Cornell Storefront Systems in 2011 where he was a Project Manager. He managed construction projects from start to finish. In September 2019, he moved to the Architectural Design Support Dept. at CornellCookson where he is currently working with Architects on design and product recommendation for projects.
