INSULATED ROLL UP FIRE DOOR SYSTEMS
The mineral wool used to insulate this door, helps to control sound transmission – featuring an R value of 5.3 and a U Value of .189 based on the ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals. The insulation also helps in a climate controlled environment by helping to maintain a different temperature on the interior and exterior of the door.
A Firemiser insulated fire door is perfect for an application that is currently exterior, but there is a planned expansion that will require the opening to be fire rated in the future.
Our insulated rolling fire door is UL listed, Factory Mutual Approved and listed with the California Office of the State Fire Marshall. It is listed with a protection ratings of 45 minutes, 90 minutes, 3 and 4 hours.
Our fire rated insulated rolling doors are also available in model number ERD21 with a SmokeShield® seal package. This optional package controls smoke and drafts while conforming to UL1784. This seal package will ensure that the smoke will also compartmentalized with the flames.
